Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a normal girl studying in Paris when she discovers the secret of the Kwamis, ancient spirits that can grant super powers through Miraculous jewellery. With the help of her Kwami friend, Tikki, Marinette becomes the superhero Ladybug and protects the citizens of Paris from Hawk Moth's akumatized villains. Struggling to keep her identity secret and balance her lives as a superhero and a student, Marinette has a lot of help from her friends, Cat Noir and Rena Rouge.
